My 54 year old son who suffered a stroke was admitted there and received good care. The nurses were outstanding as well as the Rehab Department. Later my brother from Houston was admitted there. He enjoyed the care he received. But with sadness he passed away. The staff were kind, compassionate and professional.

Advanced Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Live Oak is home for our mother and we love it. When it came time to place my mother-in-law in a nursing home, we were scared and confused by all the negative things you hear from other people regarding lack of care and loss of dignity. Due to her dementia, we could no longer could take care of my mother-in-law at home. We had so many questions about placement and toured several different facilities never getting our questions answered or feeling comfortable with the overall vibe of the other places we toured. When we went to Advanced, we spoke with Kelly. She was comforting, listened to our concerns, answered our questions and helped us through the process. She explained what to expect, helped ease our fears, guided us who to speak with about financial questions, nursing care and overall all day to day activities before we ever made the decision to move forward with placement. The whole team was very helpful in answering our questions. For my husband, it was such a difficult decision leaving his mother at any facility, however; I have seen such a positive difference in her and him since we moved her to Advanced. Thank you to all the staff for the care of my mother-in-law. Day in and day out we see you with her and she is busy with activities, she loves it there. We appreciate it more than you know that you all at Advance let her “work” there greeting people as they come in. We have seen wonders in her personality since we made the decision to place her with you all.

Advanced Rehab of Live Oak is wonderful! The staff are kind, patient, and really care about the people they help. The facility is clean and welcoming, and the therapy team has made a huge difference in my Uncle’s recovery. I have previously worked in Skilled Nursing homes in many different roles and several of my family members have experienced living in nursing homes. Therefore, I know what to look for when it comes to poor quality of care. The facility is free from odor, well maintained and if there is something that needs attention from housekeeping or maintenance it is always addressed immediately. The quality of care given by the staff is truly amazing, superseding my expectations and without a doubt the best I have seen in all my years in the healthcare industry. When my family does have questions or concerns, they are addressed by the staff and / or the administration in a timely manner. The residents are clean, laughing and overall seem to enjoy their home. They are always doing some sort of activity or outing, which makes me feel better about having to place my family member there. He does have a wonderful quality of life there and all his medical needs are being addressed with his dignity being respected and his choices being honored. I highly recommend and trust Advanced Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Live Oak with my loved one’s care and I recommend you do too! To the staff: Thank you all for what you do each and every day.
