Great facility, caring and professional staff
My mother-in-law underwent rehab at Allegiant after a heart attack. It was a complete waste of time. The staff was decent, and the other patients were friendly. However, the facility’s professionalism was laughable. Communication skills were non-existent, and I’m baffled why they had phones. We didn’t speak to a real person until three days before her discharge. Initially, she was supposed to go to a nursing home, but we were informed that if we didn’t take her home with my wife and me, she’d be sent to a shelter. An 82-year-old woman with multiple medical issues in a shelter? It was absurd! The rehab facility kept mistaking her for someone coming home with home health services we didn’t request. We called and left numerous messages, but only one person returned, who couldn’t help us and directed us to someone else who didn’t answer their phone. My mother-in-law was supposed to be assessed within the first few days and have a meeting with the staff to discuss her needs. But nothing happened, and we were completely in the dark about everything. If you’re considering placing a family member here, be prepared to be completely uninformed about their health and progress. Allegiant is not a place where you’ll get the answers you need.
If I could give this place no stars I would. My grandma went here for therapy after being very ill and they did NOTHING! For her she laid in the bed almost everyday to the point she developed a bed sore. She got bare minimum therapy IN THE BED! The nurses was nice but the techs was rude especially a light skin tech with a big head and little braids supposedly doing the would care in my grandma. I was beyond happy when her insurance allowed her to move facilities I hated coming to this place every patient looks depressed. This place is the absolute worse if you want your loved one to get good care and therapy this isn’t the place to go.
Quality Score
Carley found exceptional care quality and attentive staff consistently praised by families, though some experienced communication gaps and concerns about therapy intensity during rehabilitation stays.
