AMISTAD NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER

My aunt is at this facility for rehabilitation. At first , she was very reluctant to come to this facility due to past experiences with family members, however I can honestly say she is being treated very well. She appears to be enjoying her stay as much as she possibly can. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. My aunt eats very little normally however she enjoys the wide variety of food that is served here; her only complaint is that it’s too much food! That sounds like a good thing to me. The physical therapist is on point with constant care to make sure my aunt is safe at all times while in rehab. Any concerns we have had in regards to my aunt’s health and well being are instantly addressed by administration. All in all, this facility has gone above and beyond any of our expectations. I wish I could name the staff members that have gone above the call of duty to care for my aunt however, there are so many to mention and I wouldn’t want to leave any one out. Again, this place is so accommodating to their patients and the patient’s family. I encourage if you have a family member in this facility to please come spend time with them, have dinner with them, go to a bingo game with them and see for yourself the great changes that have happened at the Amistad Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Both of my parents were at Amistad before their passing. The staff was compassionate, patient and very caring. The facility was always clean and the food prepared for them always looked great. Thank you very much for providing such excellent care.

Overall this facility is great. The staff has been so easy to work with. Matthew who handles the financial/insurance is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. The only downfall is their meals. Wish they had more specialized meals especially for patients that have medical issues that require special diets
