If you want your loved one to live, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE! My dad was there for less than 2 weeks and had to go to the ER with Renal Failure because he was so severely dehydrated! They stuck him in a room and basically forgot about him. Supposedly he was refusing to eat and drink there (completely unlike him) but when he got to the hospital he was gulping down water... absolutely awful place!
This location is old and very poorly cared for. Busted tiles, outlets that do not work. Moldy bathrooms. Sticky floors in patient restroom, (This comes from sugar in the urine, my dad is not diabetic) "Sliding" glass doors that can not be opened. Water stains ceilings. Heat and a/c controlled elsewhere. Either freezing or roasting. Meals are full of carbs and served room temperature at best often cold and mushy. Mystery meat or grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. Watered down tea and coffee to drink. I've never seen water presented! Staff hiding in unoccupied rooms on their phones for hours. Skeleton staff on weekends. My dad seems to either not getting his meds on weekends or they are over dosing him to make him sleep the whole time. I never see him so lethargic during the week. Clothes and property stolen regularly! Jackets gone! Pants, shirts, socks personal sheets, blankets, personal pillows, facial tissue, yes facial tissue (!) all with his name on them, GONE! Who steals from these patients in memory care!!! Photos don't lie Do not put your loved ones here.
Not one photo on their website looks like this place. There were cockroaches the size of small mice. They would let my mother sit in her waste for hours. No one would answer my questions. And to get a phone called answered was impossible. Did they move their butts to help me get her transferred? Yes because they were tired of having to deal with me. We only asked for decent care and that was not given. Do t even send your unloved people there. It’s a nightmare
Quality Score
Carley found severe staffing and neglect concerns—including inadequate supervision and hygiene issues—though rehabilitation therapy services received consistent praise.
