Staff rude if you don't "drink the koolaid". Bathrooms were so tiny wheelchair couldn't fit.I barely could get in there!couldn't reach bathroom sink, and had to use towel racks as grab bars!when I left,I had state ready to back me up. I felt safer in the streets.my only positive point was being allowed to smoke.

At first site of the building.. I was worried. The building is old. The staff is wonderful. They have taken very good care of our mom. She has been very happy. Well taken care of in the facility.

I'm from NJ and have several friends that live in nursing homes. Homestead Nursing and Rehabilitation is the only place I have visited that has a feeling of home. The staff is incredibly professional, but are also friendly and accessible to the residents. We came on an exciting day where they took interested residents to the zoo. The activities director is friendly with the residents. This home seems like a safe, comfy home for family to find the care they need. I'm happy to see her thriving and I love the calm setting to rest in. The other residents were also content, this is another excellent thing to see.
