Avir Nursing Home has taken wonderful care of my grandmother, who has dementia, and our family is truly grateful. The staff is kind, patient, and compassionate, and they treat her with dignity and respect every day. It brings us so much comfort knowing she is in a safe place where she is genuinely cared for. The team goes above and beyond to make sure her needs are met, and their dedication does not go unnoticed. We couldn’t ask for better care for our grandmother and highly recommend Avir Nursing Home.

After a truly nightmare experience at another nearby nursing facility in Seguin, we were looking to find a better place for my dad. That's when Shawn, the Director of Admissions at AVIR at Seguin, stepped in and went above and beyond to make everything right. Shawn was incredibly compassionate, responsive, and determined to ensure my dad was transferred to a facility where he truly wanted to be. Thanks to his exceptional efforts, we moved Dad to AVIR, and the difference is literally night and day. Unlike the previous place, AVIR is genuinely human-centered — they truly care about their residents. The entire team is professional, kind, and laser-focused on patient comfort and dignity. The staff treats residents (and families) like people, not just cases. Dad has settled in beautifully: the food is noticeably better, he's already made new friends, and he feels genuinely cared for. In his own words, he says he "feels like he is in heaven" — and as his family, we couldn't agree more. A special note about Brenda, who is a consummate professional — always responsive, communicative, and truly dedicated to keeping families informed and supported. In all my dealings with nursing facilities, I've never experienced this level of care and attentiveness. If you're searching for a skilled nursing home that puts residents first, AVIR at Seguin is top-notch, exceptional, and highly recommended.
