The stated mission is wonderful, especially for their dedication to military veterans (having more vets, including women vets, than any other assisted living facility in this area).Unfortunately, there appears to be a lack of written or clear job descriptions for carrying out the mission. Both residents and staff seem to be unwilling to express this to the director, particularly in written form, which then hinders the ability of the director to concretely address specific issues vs rumors. Keep trying, and thank you. I have faith that we can suceed and grow!!

Gave my grandma clothes and a Tv few days later when they move her rooms “they lost”both her clothes that have her name on them and a small Roku tv. How do you misplace those types of things

Moving our friend to Avir was the best decision we could have ever made. The facility is clean and beautiful- always smells fresh (which isn't always a given for facilities). The staff is kind and welcoming to visitors and family, caring and loving to their residents. Jenna and her team have jumped through hoops to make sure my loved one is comfortable and happy there. As her health is declining, they are bending over backwards to keep her safe and healthy. They also communicate wonderfully with me which is a huge peace of mind. I could not recommend them more!
