The facility is very clean and the staff here is always having a good time. They get to know the patients really take the time to help them feel comfortable. I rest assured that my family is in the best of care. The director of nursing reviews the patient care plans and makes sure to catch anything that needs a second set of eyes or review from a doctor. She communicates with us in a way that is clear and easy for us to understand. She’s honest with us and my family when we have to make harder changes for the best results and we appreciate it so much. They also helped us by providing us the resources we needed to make sure that we could bill our insurance company properly. This team really helped make sure that we were taken care of on every front.

Avir has a real bad roach problem, The nursing staff leaves residents in their beds while they scream for help. Residents go hours without getting changed and receiving medication.If you care about your loved ones ones DO NOT send them here

I had the pleasure of visiting my loved one, who has been a resident for six months. The staff are always incredibly welcoming, the facility was spotless, and the administrator made us feel at home. I am grateful for the care provided by the administrators and staff at Killen Nursing and Rehabilitation. It's evident that the staff and residents genuinely care for one another.
