BALLINGER HEALTHCARE AND REHABILITATION CENTER

I researched and went by all the HealthCare and Rehab in San Angelo Texas and finally went outside San Angelo to Ballinger HealthCare and Rehab Center. It was great home away from home for my husband Robert for 6 weeks. He went in not able to walk well balance was off. He had a brain infection and needed iv antibiotics twice daily. The staff there is great couldn't have taken better care of him myself. The Rehab staff worked with him everyday 5 days a week and got him walking and stable on his balance. They were able to work with Robert really good great men. Robert always looked forward to them coming and getting him to work out. I can never say enough good things about this home away from home. If I ever needed to go there if I am unable to take care of myself I told my husband and Son I want to go to Ballinger HealthCare and Rehab Center. My husband went in as a very sick man after staying there and being taken care of he was released today the 15th of August 2025. Robert came out a new man walking really well and well from his brain infection. If you or a loved one needs to go to a HealthCare and Rehab Center this one is the one. Very clean and always smells good great food too. They have a backyard that is great to go set outside and hear the birds sing. After a 3 week stay in the hospital, My husband needed physical therapy. We could have Chosen a rehab facility in San Angelo but After I went and spoke with the staff here I knew that my husband would be in great hands. The physical therapy department did an amazing job and got him home sooner than was expected. The nursing staff took really good care of him. He was always clean and in good spirits when I would bring him his 6:30 am coffee. He said that he enjoyed the food he even tried foods that he would never eat. No matter what time I dropped in everything was clean and smelled great. My husband and I had no complaints. During his time there they had their annual Christmas party, my husband was given Christmas gifts. And I was given a gift knowing that he was taken care of. Thanks to all of the kind and caring staff I couldn’t of done it without you guys. Richard and Lisa Wing

I was a resident at Ballinger Healthcare and Rehab from late 2023 into 2024. When I admitted, I wasn’t in my best health. I could not walk, nor stand without falling. I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The therapy I received was wonderful and effective. I am now up and walking with only the help of a cane. I can only applaud the nursing staff for their skill and the effort they put in with patients. The facility is also very well maintained. I appreciated the time I got to spend socializing with everyone from other residents to staff members. You could always feel that each and every staff member truly cared for you and your journey/wellbeing. BHRC is a great place to be! In fact, I still come back to join activities and visit!
