If I can give this place 0 stars I would I came by to visit my family member who was here less than a month due to an employee exposing hippa and joking about their sexuality/gender the patio area is not a secret place for workers to discuss patients I witnessed a woman with short braids refer to my loved one as it he she whatever they want to be and even asked do you like men or women I asked my loved one was this his caretaker or nurse he stated no she manages his case this is ridiculous please don’t bring your loved one to this hole in the wall they do not genuinely care for your loved ones glad he chose to go back to the other facility
I have registered my mom in many nursing homes and rehabilitation centers, Bay Ridge Healthcare is by far the best. My mother is happy and doing extremely well. The admin is caring and show a great amount of love for her residents and staff. The facility is clean and well decorated. The staff loves my mom and she loves them back. Yes I have found the perfect place for her.
Ever since I made contact with Bay Ridge Healthcare Facility, everyone has been nothing short of friendly, helpful and amazing. My very first encounter was with Kayla Graham who was very helpful and kind with getting me the correct information on trying to transfer my brother from a facility in Ohio to their facility in order to be closer to me and my daughter as he had no family or close friends in Ohio. I had been flying back and forth to visit him but I notice when no one comes to a facility to check on their loved ones , the staff doesn’t take as much care and time to the resident/patient. My next encounter was with the BOM LaTanya Matthews. She is such an awesome person and very friendly, kind, patient and helpful. She stayed in touch and replied anytime I had questions about the Medicaid process etc. Once I was done with the Medicaid portion, I was out in touch with Shawna Brown who has been absolutely amazing through the transfer process. She has not only texted but have also called to let me know if I needed any help or had any questions to not hesitate reach out. She has shown constant concern about the transition and transfer of my brother to their facility, especially for the travel portion as it was during the winter storm. Her and her team have been extremely patient and helpful, even welcoming after midnight due to our travels. When I arrived with my brother, I met Felicia and 2 nurse’s aid Devon and I forgot the other young man’s name (my apologies). They were all very attentive, helpful, friendly and caring in getting my brother settled in. Even though my brother is nonverbal and can only use one side of his body, they made sure to talk to him and not at him and showed concern and great care in getting him changed and into bed for the night. I pray that he has a great experience at this new facility and get receive more rehabilitation so that he can someday return to a home setting with family. Thank you Bay Ridge for accepting my brother into your facility. I look forward to visiting him more now that he’s closer. Be blessed!
