They went above and beyond to help me get my mother into care ASAP so that I could get the medical care that I needed. They are attentive and caring with the residents, while trying to keep them as independent as possible and incorporating them into a social environment.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bethesda Gardens has been an incredible blessing for our family, and we are so thankful we found this community. After multiple rehabs, hospital stays, and even in-home care for the last 6 months, my mother needed a positive place where she could truly heal, feel safe, and not be alone. This has been the perfect fit. From the moment you walk in to the beautiful uplifting environment, you feel the warmth. Lexi, at the front desk is always cheerful with a welcoming smile. You'll see workers moving about who know these sweet people by name and genuinely seem to care about each one of them. It’s not uncommon to see staff loving on residents by stopping for hugs, holding hands and encouraging those who might have a struggle and need assistance. The medical and caregiver teams seem to have endless patience and respect for this aging community. We worked with Brandy from the start. She was so patient and compassionate as we worked through this emotional decision for us and our mom who wasn't looking forward to moving there. Kathy (Activities Director) connected with her immediately. She learned some details about my mom to help her find her place to fit in right away. She brings contagious enthusiasm that keeps residents active and engaged with new things to do and look forward to all the time. Every member of the team we have met is incredible. Reyna fills the halls with joy through her housekeeping, and Izzy on the maintenance team always steps in with a helpful, can-do attitude. Most importantly, my mother is happy! She’s surrounded by new friends, smiling again, and truly thriving. She looks forward to her daily activities which is so important for her mental health. Seeing her this content after such a difficult season of what seemed hopeless at times, has meant everything to our family. We are deeply grateful for the love and care shown at Bethesda Gardens. They are an example of how it should be done. I don't know how they do it, but I wished this experience for anyone who is aging, in need of help with daily needs or alone and feeling a bit lost in their later years. I appreciate each and every one of these special people who work as a well oiled machine.
Our mom has been at Bethesda Gardens Memory Care for just shy of 4 years and it has been a wonderful experience for all of us. Mother had become paranoid and would leave her home and wonder through the neighborhood and we knew it was time to place her somewhere. Bethesda was a great choice. Mom is happy and healthy. The facility is big which allows her to walk the halls all day with her new best friend! The medical care is excellent. They keep me inform on anything that they find, big or small. The family events are so much fun for all. You can feel the love and you can see how the staff relates to the residence and its great. The rooms are very nice! The staff does a great job of keeping everything nice and clean.
Quality Score
Carley found exceptional care quality and a pristine, welcoming environment that families consistently praised, though staffing consistency and communication drew some mixed feedback.
