CASCADES AT GALVESTON

My stay during the time of great need for others to assist me with day to day life, physical and occupational therapy, new medications, and extreme physical limitations I couldn't have asked for a more caring team determined to get me back to independence. The nurses, doctors, housekeeping, food service and activities director and all the CNA 's are amazing. You can feel that they care and that your health and success is their goal wether it be for a short stay like myself or permanent provisions the number one focus are the people in the community. I'm so grateful for it all and the continuous encouragement I received. Infact as soon as I'm able to take my next step on this healing path I'm going to become a volunteer. To everyone at Cascades at Galveston I love you all and my deepest thanks.

The quality of care received by patients has deteriorated considerably in the past two years. The place is short staffed, patients are not bathed regularly or helped out of bed to get exercise. It smells terrible. Patients don’t receive their mail in a timely manner after it is delivered because the place is so short-staffed. Try your best to find any other place for your loved one to stay!

My husband is currently a patient at the Cascades Nursing Home in Galveston! He was in another facility before we moved him to Cascades and he is totally happy with his experience there and I am very pleased with the care and support that he’s receiving! Our loved ones are much happier when they like the place they live in!
