CASCADES AT SENIOR REHAB

I had called Cascades at Senior Rehab and spoke to Brittany Westbrook in Admissions and Marketing! I see her at the hospitals all the time and she is so fantastic! I absolutely love her! She is wonderful she answered all of my questions! This place I would highly suggest to anyone! Glad they have someone that knows what she is doing!

I am a resident here. I had admitted 2 weeks ago. I called different places and no one was willing to help me. I called Cascades at Senior Rehab and spoke to Mrs. Brittany. She got me in the very next day. Mrs. Brittany was a heaven sent. The nursing staff was very welcoming and friendly the first day I got here. And still are I would recommend this place to everyone. They treated me like royalty. And I appreciate them.

Please understand that this review is based upon my interaction with the new administrator, who I believe is going to make a huge impact on this facility. The current reviews indicate that, like many other nursing homes in our area there is much room for improvement, but I truly believe in my heart that, with the new administration, that we can begin to see what Cascades at Senior Rehab could be if everyone gives their best. August 17, 2024, My heart is full of hope today, after meeting the new administrator yesterday at Cascades at Senior Rehab. I believe the new administrator, Brooklyn Johnson, was sent by God to help Cascades become the kind of place we desperately need in our area so that we can sleep at night knowing our loved ones in a nursing home are being treated with compassion, kindness, empathy, and dignity. Ms. Johnson actually asked me about any concerns or suggestions I might have and then took copious note about any areas that could be improved. I could feel Christ’s sweet spirit radiating from her obvious compassion and concerns. I look forward, with great relief and confidence, to the coming weeks and months as I expect to see this administrator to keep her promises that will ensure that the husband have loved and cherished for 57 years will be treated not just as a resident of Cascades, but as a human being worthy of our best efforts to comfort and care for him... and the other residents as well. I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to always, ALWAYS pass on praise as quickly as many pass on criticism because working at a nursing home, in any position, is seriously one of the hardest jobs (physically and emotionally) you can have, but it is a job that I believe God is carefully watching and will richly reward and bless anyone with a compassionate heart who ministers to some of His most vulnerable children. Remember what it says in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” I know deep in my heart that all actions at every nursing home is close to God’s heart and, someday, all actions will be accounted for, both good and bad, so let us all pray for everyone, including ourselves, to spread kindness in this world that can sometimes be overwhelmingly sad and heartbreaking. I pray nightly for everyone who works at Cascades, and I hope you will too. They deserve it, and so does your loved ones who are entrusted to their care.
