CHEROKEE ROSE NURSING & REHABILITATION

Staff were very warm and welcoming upon visiting the facility. Residents were having a good time enjoying activities and food during my tour. There were no smells during my tour and rooms appeared clean and well cared for when walking by.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would the fact that the staff is incompetent to do their job is irresponsible why are you licensed to help people if you can’t even do that The nurses are disrespectful when any criticism is given to them and I feel like this is a disgrace of a nursing home. Why are your patients asking for help and you can care less to give them any assistance even talking to the staff in a higher position that are there say that it doesn’t matter and it’s not gonna make a difference there are different hallways that have higher priorities which is what one of the staff members said. I feel like all people should be taken care of the same, no matter what hallway they’re in the fact that my great grandmother was in her feces and pee for hours, and nobody has yet to change her is unacceptable if you have family in this nursing home, please check on them and ask them how they are at the end of the day the staff is not doing their job about 90% of them should get their job taken away for the neglect they give their patients. 100% DO NOT COME HERE THEY ARE NEGLECTING PATIENTS!!!!!

Cherokee Rose became my dad’s short term home for about two months for rehabbing a knee injury and nursing a terminal diagnosis. The staff could not have been more helpful and kind to my dad and his entire family. They never once complained about the amount of visitors coming and going, and went above and beyond to tend to his every need…even if it seemed silly. I witnessed constant supervision of nursing staff, cafeteria staff, and cleaning staff, and all were incredibly kind and willing to help out when needed. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needed a skilled nursing location for a loved one.
