My mother takes respite here every month while she’s on Hospice. This has been a long and difficult journey for us as a family. My mom is mobile but has the capacity of a toddler. It’s a struggle to get her to eat. She can be aggressive and combative, and taking care of her is a full time job One particular person stands out. Christian is the person who typically takes care of My mother during the day. He’s so good about calling and asking questions to give her the best care possible. He’s gentle with her and so very patient. I can tell Christian really cares about my mom and his other patients. I can’t tell you how much it means to me to know that for the few days a month that I get a break from 24/7 caregiving, Christian has it under control and works with her Hospice team to ensure she gets the level of care she deserves. Thank you Christian.

I can’t say enough good things about Colonial Manor. The care they have given my mom - who is not an easy patient - has been excellent. From the top down everyone has gone above and beyond to care for and love on my mom. They have kept her comfortable, clean, and safe. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and caring. The management has always been available to answer my questions and honest with their answers. I couldn’t be more pleased to have my mom in their capable hands.

both my parents are /were at this facility. my dad was on the memory side .when my dad wanted to see his wife one of the staff would always walk him to see her and let him stay as long as he wanted.when he was ready they would walk him back to his side . when my mom took a turn for the worst and they knew she wasn't going to make they called to let me know . they kept me informed because I was out of state and was trying to get home to her in time . which I did make it time. they took great care of my mom until she passed . they are still taking good care of my dad
