CREEKSIDE TERRACE REHABILITATION

I brought my mother here after she fell in a nearby town after attending a family funeral. She couldn't travel home after breaking her ankle in 3 places. After 2 weeks of hard work from her and from the team of therapists and nurses, she was able to get in and out of a car (non weight bearing on that leg) to travel back to her home city 3 hours away. I am still so grateful to the amazing people who looked after her and helped her while separated from her husband of 58 years. It made things easier for her during a bad time. As your parents age and need extra care, it is very hard to see a parent, not be strong and independent. I do not want my dad to be unhappy, discontent, sad, scared, or lonesome. This has been a very hard transition emotionally for him and for me. All of the staff at Creekside have been exceptionally kind, caring and professional. They provide regular care information Meetings to let family know how their loved one is doing. And ask if there are any concerns, they listen they do their best to address issues that may come up. They have a wonderful activities director Miss, A she is an angel and such a blessing to all the residents her and my dad, butted heads in the beginning, but now they have become best buddies due to her kindness and compassion. she checks on the residence if she doesn’t see them in the activity room participating in activities and she is always planning fun things and has photo backdrops for all occasions and makes things fun for the residence.The medical staff that I’ve encountered in my dad‘s area have all been kind and knowledgeable And patient. The kitchen staff is very friendly when you see them in the hall everybody that works there from housekeeping to maintenance will greet you and say hello. Miss Hazel at the front desk is a ray of sunshine when you first walk in she’s very sweet. They decorate for almost all Holidays It is always clean and well maintained some care facilities have a horrible smells and are dark and gloomy. Creekside is none of those things it’s clean smells nice lots of sunshine gets in through the windows the grandkids love the fish tank with the fish in it. No place will ever be home, but at Creekside, the staff and the atmosphere Make the transition so much easier.

I had a very positive experience working with Amanda. She was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient in helping coordinate improved care and a new facility for my dad. She communicated clearly, stayed organized throughout the process, and made a challenging situation much easier to navigate. I’m very grateful for her support and guidance.❤️
