We have had such a great experience in Flatonia. My mom stayed for almost a month to recover from surgery. She loved the entire staff, always smiling and willing to help. Physical therapy really helped in her recovery and she even made some friends. Mom enjoyed the activities especially Bingo! I will definitely recommend this facility to friends or family for either short term or long term care.
I attended the Christmas luncheon that the facility held for residence and families. The food was amazing!! The staff was also very nice and very helpful with any questions that I had
My mom was in this nursing facility for about three months before she passed away on May 22 from terminal cancer. The staff was very caring, nice, & made you feel like they knew you their whole life. My mom became great friends with her roommate and she made several other friends there for the short time she was there. Everyone felt like family there. She really enjoyed the different activities for the residents there & she especially enjoyed playing bingo. Thank you to everyone at Flatonia healthcare for caring for my mom and being a part of the last three months of her life.
