I've been in over 1000 SNFs and this one got me. It's usually a pretty sour entry. First impressions are always the strongest. I have come to accept that. I came in as a vendor - this place blew me away. I was greeted by at least 4 people as soon as I walked in. Met with Steven and he was so kind and accommodating. The place doesn't look like much outside - but inside...holy moly. If the admin staff treats vendors like that, those patients and residents are going to be fanned with palm leaves. This admin has a team that has "that." The perfect combination of warmth and acceptance when it comes to making those tough decisions. I will refer all of my patients to them from hence forward. I know they will receive the proper care they deserve. Awesome job team.
The therapy delivered by Christine helped my mom advance from a feeding tube to real food. With Christine's skills and training, mom regained her strength and was able to come back home!
Christine the Rehab director is awesome and she makes sure the patients have the best care and she is a great listener and responsive to her staffs needs and she is a super speech therapist as well! AVIR is lucky to have her!
