HANSFORD COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT DBA LAKERIDGE NURSING AND REHABILITATION

My mother was placed here by hospice while I went out of town. Everyone was so friendly until I left. They were rude and griped at my mother when she asked for help. The food was cold and tasted terrible. When I went to pick my mother up, we were able to walk in, walk right by the nurse’s station, while the nurses were there, gather my mom and her things and leave. They had no idea she left. Please read the reviews before you leave your loved one here!!!!! The staff does not care about anyone!

My husband has been at Lakeridge for 14 months. He is very well cared for, loved, and spoiled! The food is good, the rooms are a nice size, the activities are enjoyable, and the facility is clean. I could not be more pleased with this facility and its wonderful staff. I realize that no facility is perfect. My husband has been in 4 different facilities in the past 3+ years. Lakeridge has been by far the best facility he has been in.

This place is absolutely terrible. My whole family is outraged and upset at how they treated my grandpa. Luckily, we caught on fast and got him out after a little over a week. He said they put him in freezing cold showers and laughed at him calling him names while they did so. One day he went from 11 am until 10 pm without eating, and only got to eat because we took food to him. They moved his call light and shut the door so they couldnt hear him and he broke 2 ribs trying to reach it. We had to call them to get them to call an ambulance when he was having chest pains. After he got to the hospital is when he told us about this all. He said if he had complained he would get punished by the nurses. He broke down crying saying he was so happy to not be going back, he NEVER cries. Absolutely disgusting and terrible.
