On January 4th my mom was hospitalized for pnuemonia and severe feet pain she was unable to walk. When i arrived I asked for help to get her out the car and the registering nurse stated she can bring a wheel chain but will not be able to help I was like wow what happened to the old days where they faithfully came willing to help so I called my husband and he came and lifted my mom out the car and placed her in the wheel chair. The staff in the ER was wonderful honestly her doctors were great. She remained in the ER until Midnight then got transfered to RM 2046. That morning I went and spent the day with her Nurse Miranda was wonderful with my mom. While being there my mom was placed a urine collector every time she urinated it collected it she accidentally urinated on herself I immediately requested help a nurse came in and when told the issue she immediately said the tech is who handles this my mom sat in her urine 1hr and 30 mins before I got pissed off pressed the nurse botton the 1st nurse I informed her asked if a clean gown could be bought she acted as if I said something wrong with an attitude looks as if she heard me cursing when she came back her attitude was different she never offered to change my mom's bed so I buzzed the nurse again and someone came in she was great she stated the same the tech is who does it but she immediately went and got everything she needed to clean and change her bed. The night staff did not give my mom her breathing treatment on time so my mom began coughing and acted as if helping my mom was a problem. She was calling and they ignored seems as if they are coming to work just to make the money where is the caring the empathy and concern for our elderly people. The following morning my mom kept saying she needed to use the bathroom she could stand her feet were way better if they could please help her to the bathroom they told her she has to wait until the therapist came to go. I am so happy my mom was released and is home. I WILL NEVER EVER TAKE HER THERE AGAIN!!!! The neglect they give her is very sad. If your love ones are taken there make sure someone states every day and night if not be ready to have them receive neglect and abuse the way my mom did.

The care my father received at your emergency department over the past two weeks has been deeply distressing and profoundly disappointing. What should have been a time focused on his recovery instead became an exhausting ordeal marked by poor judgment, inadequate communication, and an apparent lack of concern for his well-being. From the outset, it was clear that my father was not stable. Despite this, your staff insisted on discharging him, citing the opinions of “experts,” even though his physical condition and mental status were visibly alarming. When I voiced serious concerns and advocated for him to remain hospitalized, I was met not with reassurance or thoughtful discussion, but with threats of reporting me to Adult Protective Services for abandonment—an accusation that is particularly troubling given that I am the primary person who has consistently stepped up to care for him. Predictably, less than 24 hours after discharge, I was forced to call EMS again. The EMTs immediately recognized what I had been saying all along: my father was not stable and required hospitalization. Despite my efforts to ensure he received appropriate care elsewhere, he was returned to your facility, where the experience was no better than the first time. Once again, there were the same issues—poor communication, staff speaking over one another, internal disagreements, and an overall failure to coordinate care. Rather than collaborating with me as an advocate for my father, I was argued with and threatened, while the underlying medical concerns remained inadequately addressed. This entire experience not only compromised my father’s safety but also caused significant emotional distress and disrupted what should have been a meaningful holiday period for our family. I expect better from a medical institution entrusted with people’s lives. Patients and their families deserve competent care, clear communication, and respect—none of which were demonstrated here.

My day surgery was so comfortable and great! The check in, the nurses, dr’s, anesthesiologist, etc were all so amazing kind and professional. Not once did I feel like I was being mistreated or rushed to get out of there. They made me feel so comfortable and explained everything before hand and during the process. Great experience altogether. 2nd time having surgery here and it was really nice.

Carley found families consistently praised exceptional communication, attentive care, and professional staff across departments, though a small number reported inconsistent support during admission and transfer moments.
