ADVANCED HEALTH & REHAB 1201 Colonel Dr., Garland, TX 75043 Be aware, this facility is not what it seems. You know how the WORD Presentation pretty much says it all. Well they do appear to have this down pat, it's NOT at all what it seems. I was foolish to feed into their web, this facility is one horrible, horrible place to leave your loved one at. First and foremost, they are NOT equipped to handle individuals with special mental needs + having Dementia on top of that. The staff of employees working in the Memory Care unit, they have no clue on how to handle such sensitive individuals. To begin with you have to be able to meet their needs, patient, caring, showing concern and especially having empathy for such individuals. These nurses, the ones that I have come in contact with, they we're horrible. They do NOT have proper training for these residents needs, nor did they display any concern as well. They are Disrespectful, no sign of concern and argumentative. They always try and talk over you when you are trying to address an issue with them or they will take it to the next level and throw in racism. Racism does not have a place here, it's all about the care of the resident, not taking on you personal issues. They have no communication with one another, there are to many chiefs and not enough Indians. "Figure of speech" They actually let my family member go without meds for over a week, by this time it was to late, full manic mode. Then having the nurse yell at you over the phone then hear her in the same sentence yell at your loved one. Can you just imagine what she does when the resident are by themselves. This is very alarming to me. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Just think this was our experience in just a little over a month. My previous review back in August was deleted, this is most current. Also to let you know, the D.O.N. is just as useless as the rest of the others. Just make sure you keep an eye on your loved ones, medications. I normally do not result in such manner, but then you have to reach down to others, level. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY, NOT EVEN MY WORSE ENEMY!

The staff are wonderful caring people. They have taken care of my mother like she was their own. The physical therapists do a great job with rehabilitation. They have activities like bingo which mom really enjoyed. I’m so glad we chose this facility and would recommend it to others.
