My mother recently passed away in this facility. I have received no condolences or sympathy in any way. It is business as usual. In her room, the laptop she coveted was missing within hours of her passing. When I asked about it, they said they would look and get back to me. That was a week ago. I had had no response. During her stay I was lied to and manipulated by the nurse manager to "control' my mom and finally threatened to move my mom out if I did not agree to what she was proposing. The issue at the time was a medical condition that was not being looked at. They were focusing on the behavior, not the cause of the behavior, despite the facts I presented otherwise. The condition went on too long and I believe that effects of the condition led to significant accelerated decline. I admire and respect the people that own this facility and I hope that they are able to educate those caring for the people that have had to make that their home to actually provide care.

I am a local hospice social worker and frequently refer patients to Huntington Healthcare. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and compassionate experience for residents and their families. Doris, in particular, has been incredibly helpful with every referral I send; she’s attentive, caring, and truly dedicated to providing quality support. I am grateful to have such a dependable facility to recommend, knowing that the residents will receive exceptional care. This facility is clean, prompt to anwser patients needs & very caring on a personal level. I've watched them take great care of multiple loved ones over the years. My aunt resides here now & they do an excellent job caring for her. Always going the extra mile to help her.
