No compassion at all! Don’t leave your family here if you can’t check on them. My mom was here nearly two weeks and only one nurse we met the whole time was nice. If she asked for anything like even a cup of ice or water -they acted like she was a problem. I went to the nurses station and after watching her scroll Facebook for a minute she looked at me like I was a bother and brushed me off more or less. If they need blood pressure checked more than twice a day take your own blood pressure cup! I told them she was a previous stroke patient and it had to be monitored more often - SO! Let’s also not forget about the “call” button. If you are having an emergency - TOO BAD! They are in no hurry what so ever. I will say the place is for the most part in the common areas are nice and clean. Not run down- and having a grille and Starbucks inside was nice- but that’s doesn’t make up for how rude most were there . PT was very nice. That’s was about it:

If I could give them a ZERO I would!! I am writing this review due to the lack of care my mother experienced on her first night at Ignite Medical Resort. My mother was already feeling restless and anxious about being in a new facility. Initially, everything started off well—staff members were attentive, kind, and welcoming, which gave us reassurance. However, as the evening progressed, we waited over four hours for my mother’s scheduled nighttime medications. During this time, I heard other families expressing similar concerns and stating that this delay frequently occurs when one particular nurse is working. I approached the nurse to ask when medications would be administered, and she responded, “in a second.” When I looked at her medication cart, I observed that she was pre-popping medications for the entire hall and writing residents’ names on the medication cups, which raised concerns about safe medication practices. My mother did not receive her medications until almost 10:00 PM. When the nurse finally entered the room, she set the pills down without checking my mother’s blood pressure. I asked if everything was okay, and she stated that everything was fine, then abruptly left the room while I was still trying to speak with her. I followed up and asked whether my mother’s blood pressure had been taken, especially since she was receiving blood pressure medication. The nurse stated that it had been done already and that the blood pressure medication had already been placed with the other pills. This situation was very concerning and distressing, especially on my mother’s first night at the facility. Medication delays, lack of basic assessments, and dismissive communication should not occur and need to be reviewed to ensure resident safety and proper care.

Carley's Analysis

Carley found exceptional care quality and skilled rehabilitation services highly praised by families, though communication responsiveness and consistency in compassionate care drew some concerns.
