Took a tour of building and it was very nice. Receptionist was very friendly along with some staff I meet. Nurse was very professional and had answers to all my questions that I had.

My mother-in-law has been there for 6 months and she's hardly having any more seizures (easily increased by stress), she has made friends and is enjoying the activities. We saw the calendar on the wall and thought, yeah right, you do all that. But they really do. Bingo, Karaoke, live band, card games, even happy hours! We opt to pick up her laundry every week for her, but they do have a laundry facility on site. There's also a hair stylist and physical therapist and a doctor who can be their primary if you want to switch over. After the first few weeks of being upset, she settled in, we got her a TV to mount and a small FM radio. She's doing just fine. Initially arrived on cash, then switched over to Medicaid with the help of the staff.

I can see why this facility has low ratings. My grandma came for hospice respite care. Poor communication between nurses and/or no accountability for neglecting patients. Day 2 and my grandma's toothbrush was still in new package and had not been open, she was wearing same clothes, and soaking wet pullup at 1pm. Nobody is providing basic living skills care. Somehow all the snacks my mom took my grandma can't be found...and it had only been 1 day. When questioned, everyone points the finger at the previous nurse. This is memory care unit, so these residents need help doing basic tasks. Seems to be short staffed, and the ones there either have way too much to handle or just don't care. Please do better. Thankfully this is just short term, so if/when we look for something permanent we will definitely be looking elsewhere.

Carley found families loved the beautiful, spotless environment and professional staff, though some experienced inconsistent care quality and responsiveness to requests.
