DO NOT PLACE YOUR FAMILY HERE THEY ARE NEGLICENT AND THEY WILL DIE. My grandmother was here for 3 months. And died of sepsis. SEPSIS. I was called while she was dying, while they were performing CPR. Any time she complained of pain or discomfort they upped her dose of anti psychotics. I called once a week for updates and half the time the nurses would just say”she’s just the same as yesterday” which I was told 2 DAYS BEFORE SHE DIED. My grandma was 67. Not old at all so why is she dead. Numerous times I called and could hear her screaming for help and they would say “she’s just wants someone to hold her hand” and then wouldn’t. She was sent there to receive RT and OT to get her off the ventilator and was told after 2 weeks they stopped performing any duties because “she refused” that’s what your paid for. These people are disgusting money hungry and evil. And I hope they are judged accordingly. Absolutely heinous. Please protect your loved ones. I will live with the guilt of allowing the hospitals to convince me this was the best and safest option for her.

My sister was here for 10 months. She fell and busted a front tooth out, she had dental insurance but they never fixed the tooth, she fell in the shower and was supposed to go have an mri but they never did it. Room always flooded with sewer water. I saw a lady fall and bust her head wide open and the nurse told her to sit down and they put a wash cloth on it. You could never reach a nurse to talk to them about your loved one. We would spend 45 mins to an hour waiting on hold just to hang up! I caught a nurse sleeping in one of the beds with the light off on her shift in the secured unit with patients walking around with either no tops on or bottoms on. Reeks of urine . I would NEVER put another loved one here. The BOSS LADY as she refers to herself with that saying on a name plate on her desk is rude and very abrasive. (Brenda) She definitely does not have people skills and is in the wrong business with her harsh attitude towards patients family members. Overall, I give this place an F in the grade of compassion and care.

My experience with Marine Creek has been fantastic. While there’s always a lot happening, the incredible administrator keeps everything running smoothly with care and compassion. The food is absolutely amazing—truly a highlight! The staff is attentive, and the environment feels welcoming and warm. I couldn’t ask for more from a place that truly feels like a home away from home for any friends or family members looking for the highest quality care! Highly recommend!
