My dad was a resident of Mesa Springs for a short time. The staff was amazing and caring! The facility had just been renovated and looked wonderful. I would highly recommend this facility for your loved ones.

DO NOT SEND LOVED ONES HERE. My father was referred here from Hendricks for rehab. When he was transferred over, the person wheeled him into his room, shut the door and he was left for almost 2 hours. Someone happened to come into his room and asked who he was because they didn't know they were getting anyone new. They delivered his supper, but did not bring his insulin beforehand. Infact, they did not give him insulin at all, stating they do not carry it at their facility and needed to order some. The next morning, they brought him a tray for breakfast that included 3 items he was allergic to. By the time my mother arrived, my father informed her how bad he was feeling. She took his blood sugar and it was 407!! Thankfully, she had his at home insulin with her. The nurse took it from her and give him the wrong one for that time of day. The few days he was there, they would give it during odd times, usually after his meals, messing with his blood sugar. It took several requests for him to be able to get a bath. He would ask for help and nobody would come. And please tell me why you have someone in TRANSPORT giving my father his meds?! We got him out of there as soon as we could. He was very unhappy with the lack of care and spent most of his time there crying. They also hardly did much rehab with him at all. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. It needs to be shut down.
