For this place, I'm not sure if there is a census quota that isn't met, financial issue or just a down right communication problem. My dad was accepted as a resident in mid November, deposit was paid everything a go, waiting for move in...Two days after deposit was paid I was informed by the facility which my dad was being transferred from, that he wasn't approved due to the nurse not being available on the weekends to assist him with his med. ( on the assisted living side) Morada did not give me this info until 48hrs after I called. Long enough to accept my deposit and tell me "Sorry" I was told by Barbie I would be refunded the following Tuesday. That didn't happen. I called several times and told by Barbie either she would find out what's going on and call me back. I have yet to receive a call from her!!!! However the numerous times I've called I get the same response. It is now Mid January and I have yet to hear from Barbie or anyone else about my money!!! 2 months and this place has NOT refunded my money DUE TO THEIR SITUATION and my dad NEVER stepped foot in the building...

Morada Cedar Hill is one big family! They create positive experiences, like Family Night featured in these pics. And they care for their residents like their own family, especially caregivers like Cathy. Cathy is patient, caring, and thoughtful. You can tell she loves what she does by how much she gives of herself! I'm very thankful for Cathy and the rest of the Morada team.

This morning I took the tour of the Morada Cedar Hill retirement community. I found this facility to be a wonderful area of Cedar Hill, close to Grand Prairie as well as Lancaster. I spoke with the General Manager of the facility and received a really warm welcome.. I didn’t answer questions with Barbie Lee, Business office, Director, as well as asking questions about the facility, and then we embarked on the tour. This facility fits my view of moving forward. The Morada, Cedar Hill Is close to schools, has a large number of open areas and it’s close to places of worship.. I’m glad I’ve chosen to start this next phase of life’s Journey with the M.C.H. as my first Potential choice.. of Home.
