The Crossings is a 5 star retirement community. Engagement in League City is encouraged with the residents providing feedback after each event. As a member of the Council of Advisors, I am proud to represent our seniors and their interests in our region. Our residents consistently tell me they wish they had moved to The Crossings sooner.
If I could give 100 stars I would. My father (Herman C) went into short term rehab at The Crossings after an illness that required him to go to PT and have nursing care until he was healthy enough to return home. I researched the League City area extensively to make sure I selected the best place for him. WOW did we find it! The Crossings far exceeded our expectations in all ways. This facility (all of it) is beautiful, clean, well appointed, and the scent of a nice hotel greets you upon arrival and through the halls (not like a hospital or nursing home), The staff was amazing from housekeeping, to the wonderful kitchen crew (shout out to Yolanda ❤️), food, the nurses, CNA's, PT, to the facility Director (Greg I think) who would come to the dining area to visit or do whatever is needed. The other patients became a temporary family to my dad (and to me). The social aspect was priceless. My father was released yesterday and he probably would have preferred to stay (but that is not possible). We could not have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a facility to care for someone elderly LOOK HERE - you won't look any further. We have so much gratitude to everyone - my dad loves you (so do I).
The representatives were not helpful in regards to enrolling a family member with special needs. We definitely felt not welcome.
Quality Score
Carley found families consistently praised the immaculate, beautiful environment and skilled rehabilitation care, though communication gaps and staffing consistency raised some concerns.
