The minute you walk in the door there’s a feeling of home. Meals are being prepared, people are up doing activities and the staff are welcoming. Administration (Ashley Castro) is very involved in the day to day care and oversight of the community. Janie is one of the house managers that is a stand out! She exudes care and compassion. I definitely would feel confident having my loved one live here.
Viewed this place a month ago with my dad. We lost my mom 6 months back, and he's declined significantly. If it wasn't for my brother choosing to let my dad live with him full-time, we would have chose Mustang creek estates. We viewed the grounds with a sweet young lady by the name of Ashley, she made us feel like family. My dad had a meal, and was sold. Cozy private community tucked away. Would definitely recommend.
I had my mom at Mustang Creek several years ago and moved my dad and stepmom there the middle of 2025. Moving my parents to an assisted care facility is very hard. My family are extremely happy with the choice we made in moving them to Mustang Creek. My Dad presented many challenges at the beginning and not the nicest person to deal with. The staff has always been very friendly, caring, and accommodating. My dad has now pasted, and my stepmom is in the memory care unit, stage 7 Alzheimer's. Hospice takes great care of her and they keep me updated on how she is doing every week.
