OAK VILLAGE HEALTHCARE

This place is the best! From the Administration (Lindsey is the best!), the DON and ADON are on top of everything, (Thanks Nadja and Jennifer!), the activity coordinators Teresa and Lisa, the therapy group, the business office manager, Delissa (She's helped my sooo much!), the RN's, CNA's, and CMA's (they go above and beyond to make my Momma feel loved and cared about--I can't thank them enough for all they do!), the hospice group they have, the hair dresser that cuts and fixes their hair to make them feel special, the kitchen staff that goes out of their way to make and find things each one will eat (my Mom is really picky sometimes), the housekeeping staff that keeps the place imaculate!, the laundry staff that keeps her clothes clean and nice. I could go on and on...I'm sure I missed someone, and I apologize if I did... I HIGHLY recommend that if you want a place that takes really good care of your loved one, and genuinely cares about their health and safety--THIS IS IT. Thank you Oak Village, for taking such good care of my Momma!

This place is trash. They didn't even know my mother in law was there. Day shift stuck her in a empty room with dirty sheets on the bed, no blanket nothing to keep her from falling. Then night shift didn't even know she was in there. When we got there she was falling out of bed and crying. They stuck her in the room and forgot about her. The food they put on a dresser 20 ft away from her it was old leftovers from breakfast, she didn't get there tell 5pm. She can't get out of bed by herself and the call button was 15 ft from the bed. The room was old the paint pilling off the walls old furniture from whoever was in it last. She was only there to get her meds right, she wasn't moving in. Don't let iph home health put your loved ones in there because they don't care its all about the pay check.

In the beginning there were a few hiccups, but those all got ironed out. There is no perfect nursing home out there, my mom is a likable person so it makes the transition a little easier than most. I had a favorite nurse there, but she no longer works there. Everybody loves my mom. Lindsey the administrator goes above and beyond for her residents. If you have a issue she takes care of it even on her days off. Delissa is also awesome in the business office. The activity director has been successful to get my mom to participate in all the activities,.
