PARK MANOR OF SOUTH BELT

My Great Grandma was here for rehab. My family wasn’t sure they wanted her to go to a nursing home but realized it was for the rehab. Christine, the Rehab Director, made sure grandma was taken care of. Steve and Cindie were amazing therapists. All of the nurses were amazing. Braxton was one her favorite CNAs. Braxton would even show up on her days off to make sure grandma was ok. i can’t say and thank Park Manor of South Belt enough for al the love they showed my grandma. Vicki has been in constant communication with my family since my grandma discharged making sure she had everything she needed at home. thank you for taking care of my grandma

I would never recommend Park Manor South belt in Pasadena, TX. My mom was transferred there from the hospital for rehabilitation and dropped off after 7pm. She was placed in a room and left alone - no one checked on her overnight. The next morning, my sister-in-law found her unresponsive with dried blood around her mouth and nose, and had difficulty finding staff to help. When my dad called that morning, he was told she was doing fine and had eaten breakfast on her own, which was completely untrue. At that time, she could not feed herself. After being unable to get immediate assistance, we called an ambulance. She was rushed to Memorial Hermann Southeast, where they acted quickly and had to place her on life support. She remained hospitalized for a month and a half. After that, she was transferred to Courtyards at Pasadena for rehabilitation, where she received excellent care. After more than three months, she is now recovering at home. In our opinion, much of this could have been avoided if she had received proper monitoring and care upon arrival. We were also disappointed in the discharge and transfer process from HCA Southeast, as we did not feel adequate precautions were taken to ensure a safe transition. The difference in care between facilities was night and day. Park Manor showed a serious lack of staffing, accountability, and compassion. Despite everything, they repeatedly contacted my dad for payment for a two day stay even though she wasn’t there for a full day. Please think carefully before trusting this facility with your loved one.

My 31 yr old was involved in a car accident and went to Park Manor after being discharged from HCA Hospital Webster. The staff at Park Manor was very attentive, professional and did an excellent job tending to his medical needs. LaTosha and Vicky were extremely helpful with providing information and guiding us through the discharge process.
