My father was in there for 3 months from rehab to hospice care. Everyone was very helpful especially the nurses aide Angelica who was just a family member providing great care and every personal detail. The nurses Tina and Narelle were also very helpful and on top of things. The only issue we had was with the laundry, they kept misplacing my fathers clothes. Overall very satisfied and highly recommend this place.

I’ve thought a lot about writing this review because I know there are hardworking people at this facility, but I HAVE TO SPEAK UP. What happened to my mom and me was UNACCEPTABLE. Please, do NOT trust the 5-star reviews or consider this place for your loved ones. My mom, who has Alzheimer’s, stayed here for a week over Christmas, and they said she had behavior problems at night. I’ve been taking care of her BY MYSELF for three years—UNPAID AND ALONE. It’s already hard enough, but for them to act like MY MOM IS THE PROBLEM? That’s NOT OKAY. The admissions director scheduled a visit with my mom and me for 2:30 PM. I planned to drive over, but the director said they would come to us. I even walked my dog earlier to make sure I’d be ready. But 2:30 PM came, and NO ONE SHOWED UP. I waited ALL DAY, confused. When I called the social worker, she told me someone DID COME—at 1:30 PM, NOT 2:30 PM LIKE WE AGREED. Apparently, the admissions director came to my home AN HOUR EARLY, WALKED IN WITHOUT PERMISSION, and tried to make my mom use the bathroom. MY MOM DOESN’T KNOW THIS PERSON, and with Alzheimer’s, of course, she got upset! How could they JUST BARGE IN like that? AND THEY NEVER EVEN CALLED TO TELL ME THEY WERE AT MY HOME. WHO DOES THAT? Then, they tried to GASLIGHT ME, as if I WAS IN THE WRONG for being upset about the whole thing! I’M NOT EVEN PROPERLY TRAINED like the staff, but I can do a FAR BETTER JOB than they can. I’ve watched other nurses do a better job, too. So don’t believe them when they say their staff is "properly trained." I MEAN, HELL, I read a review where a woman’s mother was left lying on the floor ALL DAY while the nurses were laughing it up in the corner! How can you trust a place like that? Look I can't speak for everyone there. There are some lovely nurses & people there. I don't blame everyone. Taking care of the elderly can be mentally exhausting. However to upper management you have ABSOLUTELY no justification in treating us how you did. overall, The Admissions Director who visited treated us so UNPROFESSIONALLY. PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY before trusting them with your loved ones.

Such an amazing team at Park Place! The social worker here is great with patients and families. The director of nursing department is responsive to needs and is excellent in coordinating care! We love Park Place! It's 1 of the BEST around!!

Carley's Analysis

Carley found a beautiful, exceptionally clean environment with strong rehabilitation services and generally attentive care, though recent staffing transitions and communication inconsistencies have raised some concerns.
