My father was here for close to a month. It was horrible!! They were supposed to help him shower every other day but it was more like once a week. They kept him in the same clothes for days at end. Tjey even had his meds messed up and was not giving him his blood thinner even though they knew he had a heart valve replacement. When discharged I asked for a urine test and they took the sample but never submitted it. The place is very run down with stuff falling off walls. His toilet did not work the entire time he was there, although reported to maintenance at least 3 times and there was a leak under his sink. On top of all this there were bugs in his bathroom. Simply horrible!! Do NOT send a loved one here!!!
Please do not allow your love ones here. I lost my loved one due to neglect. When taken to the ER he was malnourished, septic, needed 4 blood transfusions from a bed sore the size of a man's fist, and 6 weeks of antibiotics.
The staff at Park Place see mom as a real human and not just what her coverage is. We've struggled finding the right place for mom. From working with Queen in admissions to the various therapists and nursing staff - they have really worked to find what will be best to keep mom peaceful and safe. I am so thankful for their ability to care individually for the residents' needs. Thank you!!
Quality Score
Carley found serious concerns about hygiene, cleanliness, and neglectful care practices including medication errors and inadequate personal assistance, though rehabilitation services and some staff were noted positively.
