I was fortunate to have found Ontiveros Foster Home for my mom years ago. She gave my mother much more individualized attention than the three formal nursing homes we had tried before. My mom was more engaged and comfortable in this smaller setting. My mom suffered from a combination of diabetes, Parkinson's, and Alzheimers. She was confined to a wheelchair and then bedridden for her last stages and complications. Rufina and her staff handled my mother's progression extremely well. I had full trust in her professionalism and her great compassion. My mother and her Foster Home companions were well cared for and above all truly loved.

I can never give enough thanks to Ruffina and Ontiveros foster care for the expert and professional care given to my mother during her stay with them. Each day Ruffina and her team provided for my mothers physical emotional medical and safety needs with love kindness and gentleness. Fresh nutritious healthy meals were prepared each day based on my mothers preferences requests and abilities. Hydration was a high priority. Independence within her abilities was encouraged and allowed. Vital signs and medications we’re efficiently managed. Repositioning and monitoring occurred day and night. Flexible and transparent visits were available. Because Ontiveros foster care provides such a home like feel and five star plus care, I very highly recommend them.

We were blessed to find Ontiveros Foster Home to care for my Father in the last year of his life. I only wish we had found this home sooner for him. Ruffis, the owner is loving and compassionate. She and her staff treated my Father like he was part of their family. It was wonderful to have him in a home setting instead of a nursing facility. We are forever grateful to God for leading us there and for Ruffis and her staff for the exceptional care they gave my Father in his final days in this life.
