Pioneer Ridge Gracious Retirement Living

We sure enjoyed touring Piomeer Ridge! The staff and residents were very friendly! It's nice to know that managers live on site and it's all-inclusive. We stayed for a meal after the tour and the food was amazing! I highly recommend Pioneer Ridge!

Management sets the tone of an independent living community, and the on-site managers at Pioneer Ridge, particularly Jamie and Patti Miller, are always willing to listen and eager to help my dad with even minor concerns. They are the consummate professionals while maintaining an approachable demeanor. He felt he could drop by their office at any time. Marketing Director Angel Piorkowski gave us a thorough initial tour and then has followed up with him frequently to be sure he was settling in well. Meal quality is almost equally important to seniors, and every meal at Pioneer Ridge offers a wide range of delicious choices, including specialty desserts and/or a dessert trolley. Breakfast of oatmeal with raisins and scrambled eggs was one of my dad’s favorites. And the young servers are always efficient and friendly. The managers themselves serve beverages, enabling them to chat briefly with all the residents and casually check on them. Background music is turned down to facilitate table conversation. Accomplished residents often play the grand piano, or community groups provide brief concerts before or after meals. Other amenities my dad enjoyed are the weekly thorough room cleaning and the conveniently located exercise room open 24 hours a day with a variety of machines and a golf-course view. The large, deep balcony in his apartment has a great view of the golf course too. The common areas are attractive and comfortable, and the entire building is well maintained. Pets are allowed. A wide range of activities is available throughout the day and evening. And transportation is regularly available for doctor visits and shopping. Also very helpful for seniors is the prime location within easy walking distance of a drug store, post office, bank, large grocery store, dry cleaner, auto repair shop, and a range of restaurants. The Pioneer Ridge community is truly the “gracious retirement living” they advertise to be, and my dad was pleased to recommend it to a friend who moved in shortly after he did.

I love this cute community! It has a home-like atmosphere and I love the music played throughout the community. The staff are very friendly and helpful and anyone would be lucky to get to live there! Their sales director is also incredible and I personally know that she only works at places that she believes in with integrity and would never work somewhere that didn’t take care of its’ residents. Wonderful place for your loved one!
