Absolutely 100% the most infuriating experience I have ever had. The aids and workers are great. Now the RN and management is a complete disaster. Only reason we went here is to get the wife's meds straight after she aspirated at home as she was over medicated with new prescriptions that were prescribed in the hospital on previous admission she had. So, I chose for her to go here to get meds adjusted if needed or increased back up some due to a "so called" doctor being on staff. Yeah, that is not the case 6 days later still no pain management doctor in which it would be antother 2 to 3 days due to it being outsourced. Wife is on lyrica a high dosage 3 times a day every 8 hrs. meds were given 730am mid day and 730 at night. One muscle spasm med (Robaxin) was prn yet no one told her she had to ask for it and repeatedly she was told that it wasn't time for her meds due to pain. She is on a 1/4 of pain meds that she was previously on mind you. So what was accomplished other than the staff raiding her room and giving a lie as justification when she wasn't in the room and at physical therapy. Police called by other residents multiple times. Lady yelling and screaming at random times. Makes you wonder if they are properly medicating anyone there. If you smoke do not come here it is the only thing that they care about is that you don't smoke on their property. Not patient mental state nor if they are in pain but, if you are a double amputee from being mutilated from another doctors carelessness. But they are worried about a lighter that is in the wifes purse she couldn't get too under any circumstance, mind you we got a toaster in the room, incredible. If your loved one is here or going here and requires medication you need to monitor the meds closely. At no point did they say what meds they were giving her, just gave her a cup of pills. That is the reason she didn't know med was on a patient request. They had the nerve to say I was removing her against doctors advice and (not sending her home with adjusted meds from hospital) no, I removed her to get the care we were promised going there. She also had a bed sore but she could get that done by home health so literally the only reason that she was there was to get meds and the incompetence and arrogance and refusal to get a pain management referral is criminal. I can't say the rest but, be very careful with your loved ones, once the medical system especially with the tort laws in texas get a grip on you there is no mercy until your loved one dies or your broke. Regaurdless they still drive their Mercedes home.

Laurie, the activities director , is a wonderful person that truly cares for each and every resident. The nursing staff is top notch and it brings me peace knowing mom is so well cared for. I highly recommend this establishment for your skilled nursing needs!

Should have done this review a long time ago. The staff at this facility seems to really care about their patients. Had a chance to speak with Mrs. Pinkins and her confidence in her staff, her love for what she does, and her compassion for the residents is very evident when she speaks. I left with no worries about the level of care that would be received.

Carley's Analysis

Carley found a clean, spacious facility with strong rehabilitation services that families appreciated, though care quality and responsive staffing remained significant ongoing concerns.
