Moving my dad into Plum Creek Place has been one of the most reassuring decisions I’ve ever made. From the very first night, the staff showed just how much they genuinely care about their residents. One by one, they stopped by his room to introduce themselves and make him feel welcome. That level of warmth and intention meant the world to us. The facility is clean, well kept, and currently undergoing a lovely facelift that only enhances its inviting atmosphere. There are scheduled daily activities that keep residents engaged, and I was especially impressed by a recent “art gallery event” honoring a local artist who is also a resident. It’s clear that the team here values community, creativity, and dignity. One day when I stopped by to visit my dad, I noticed several residents gathered in a common living area, engaged in praise and worship together. Seeing that filled my heart with peace. Knowing my dad is in a God-filled environment where faith and fellowship are welcomed brings me so much comfort. I also appreciate the public board honoring Veteran residents — including my dad. It’s a thoughtful touch that shows respect for their service and makes families feel seen and valued. A special shoutout to Savannah Shields for her exceptional hospitality and support throughout the entire process. She made everything so easy, and her kindness helped put my heart at ease. I am genuinely happy and at peace knowing my dad is in a place where he will be well cared for, respected, and surrounded by people who truly enjoy what they do. I highly recommend Plum Creek Place to anyone looking for a compassionate, welcoming assisted living community. The ease of the entire process was deeply appreciated.
