WINDSOR NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER OF ALICE

Unfortunately I had a very short stay of 1 week for Rehabilitation (PT) I didn’t meet my goal I could’ve appealed the insurance but there was so many things going on in my life and I was having so much trouble ambulating even w the walker n my husband was going home at night n due to the neuropathy I had sustained frequent falls n I was afraid to fall being that I was alone n when I would get up to the bathroom but they accommodated the commode to raise it higher cuz the 1st night was rough cuz it was too low n I had a lot of trouble getting up by myself n staff at night is limited n it took a while for them to help me back to bed but that was ok cuz that was the only activity I did at night. I didn’t want my husband to stay cuz he had already been taking care of me 24/7 along w my sister n needed a break. I can’t remember everyone’s name but everyone was excellent n went out of their way to be attentive even when I asked for pain med cuz I suffer from chronic pain due to the neuropathy they took care of me very fast. The DON: Mickey RN was very attentive n rounded when she was on duty, the PT Staff, the CNA’s n the one that helped me shower, Dietary Dept, Business office, I wish I could name each n everyone but I don’t want to hurt ppl’s feelings n leave someone out. We played Chalupa n Bingo w nice prices, tho I was having problems w my appetite, the food was good n replaced w other things that I could eat like soups I could go on n on at all the positive things that I experienced but I would never finish, they even made time to converse for a short time. I can’t think of anything negative that I can mention? But keep up w the good job that you all are doing! God Bless everyone of you n your loved ones!

From the nurses to the aides, floor staff and administrators these are the most caring ppl and God bless each and everyone that brought my dad back to a life he is enjoying thanks to each and everyone at Windsor. I can’t thank each and everyone enough. It takes a special people with a generous heart to do what yall do for the patients there at Windsor. Not one patient there asked to be in their situation, but thanks to people like you there’s hope and something to look forward to. God Bless you ALL!

I have my relative here at Windsor. And all I have to say is that the directors, staff, nurse’s, CNA’s are amazing people. Also the kitchen food is delicious. This place has improved 110%
