My daddy Buddy Robert Waggener is here for rehabilitation, he talks about how all the workers are so nice and friendly. He enjoys when they stop by talk even though he hard of hearing. He told us that he likes it here, not like the other ones. They always keep us informed with information regarding him. I love how they have activities for all to be involved. Thank you all for the career paths that you chose. He loves all the ladies making a fuss over him. Lol Slowly they are getting everything all spruced up. It all takes time to renovate and from what I see it's looking good. Thank you to all who chose this as your career.
We put my mom in this rehab because she has broke her ankle and got COVID. The Dr convinced us that mom needed rehab for her lungs due to COVID. After 6 days of being at this facility she has only seen the rehab therapist 1 time for 5 minutes. On the 6th day my mom got very confused and disoriented and it took me throwing a cut before the ever called the ambulance. Come to find out my mother was having a stroke and her nurse at this place didn't have a clue what was going on. I strongly recommend not putting your family members in this awful place.
They have… opportunities. Had a family member stay here for rehab after a significant surgery. These are the issues that we experienced: - I personally overheard the nurses talking negatively about the patients. - Forgot to give my family member meds. - Forgot to bring them food. - Left a medical device alarming loudly for 8 hours until we “strongly” recommended they do something about it. “They didn’t know how to operate it.” - They overdosed them on their medicine causing an emergency return to hospital. - Left them in soiled sheets and clothes for an extended period of time. - When my family member needed assistance and would trigger the alarm, they would come in to turn the alarm off, leave without saying anything, and never return. - They got into a screaming match with another family member who was begging for help. If you have the time to stay with your family member 24/7, and manage everything they should be doing, try it out. But if you have to leave for any reason, I’d recommend somewhere else.
Quality Score
Carley found serious concerns about facility cleanliness, sanitation, and inconsistent care quality, though some families noted positive experiences with staff attentiveness and rehabilitation services.
