If you truly care about your loved ones, do not put them in this hell hole. They do not care about their residents. I came in everyone was outside smoking. The halls are full of comatose residents. My mom had a highly infectious disease , in her urine and they left her feces in the toilet for over 8 hours not caring. Left her lying in bed in a wet diaper not getting her up. Also the head nurse is awfully rude.

They broke hippa violation over and over when my dad was their for rehab. When he was admitted as a resident, he was there one week and fell and broke his hip due to their negligence. When he passed , they allowed my brother to donate all his belongings without asking if I wanted anything we had bought him. Even after I called and asked and told by social worker that she would try to locate and call me, I never heard from her. Now I have nothing left to remember my father by..The staff needs traing in patient and family relations..

Greetings, my dad Dolan Mathews was put in this facility in April 2024. My dad is from Atlanta Bivins area and very much so wanted to come back to be with his siblings understandable. I had the honor to travel to Atlanta to see my dad and visit the facility on Thursday June 7th 2024. I must say that I am very pleased, staff is very caring and kind. Now I know my dad made the correct choice because he did have a choice. I would like to thank my family,, Pastor and First Lady Mathews, Uncle Wayne Mathews, Uncle Michael Mathews, Rev. Arzanda Mathews, Aunt Vernell Johnson, my cousin Brittany and Stephanie fir a pleasant tradition that was very difficult to me considering I can not see him often as I did before moving out of the Metroplex. But I do know that this was a good and best move for him. And last but not least I want thank the entire staff here at Golden Villa for working patiently during this transition.
