WHISPERING OAKS REHAB & NURSING

This is not your average skilled nursing and long term care facility. This is home for the long term residents and very much like home for the short term patients coming from the hospital for the intensive therapy services needed. The people that work here and take care of the residents have been here for years and go above and beyond for them because they truly treat them like family. There's a variety of social activities and events happening on a regular basis that keeps the residents engaged and having fun. From the nurses, nurse assistants, therapy staff, office staff and administration, there is a culture of caring at Whispering Oaks. It's more like family taking care of you and that is a great feeling.

This report is from the information that my sister provided me over the last week or so that our dad was in the care here before he passed the other day. This was a much better place than the one he was in previously in Victoria. She also let me know that the staff here at Whispering Oaks was way better and nicer than where he was at prior. As well, she did mention a night employee there that was named Dakota, and had nothing but nice things to say about how much that Dakota seemed to care about his job. Thank you all for taking care of him in his final days, and I only wish I had the ability to have been there at the end. I am just glad that my father had good people to look after him for the end.

This place has some amazing staff and provide excellent care. The rooms are clean and inviting. The management team is very attentive and truly compassionate. Each time I have visited everyone is welcoming and helpful. Great place overall.
