HILLSIDE MEDICAL LODGE

Susie and Carrie were so helpful when we needed a place for my Dad to go to rehab. They made the admissions process very easy & were very accommodating to his needs. The nursing staff has been available for questions around the clock. The physical therapy department with Jennifer and her team work with Dad and encourage him to work hard and he loves being in there with each of the staff and other residences. He enjoys the social interaction and all the fun performances and entertainment that Kami provides, she is top notch and so incredibly talented, creative and fun to be with. Alex is very helpful and meets Dads needs and our questions when we have them, and went above and beyond to invite an old friend of my Dad’s, one of Alex’s relatives to visit when Dad was missing his important pastoral connections. I live in Georgetown where there are lots of choices for rehab and care. Gatesville has fewer choices but I am glad Hillside Medical Lodge is there and in Walter, my Dads hometown. He can remain close to home and be surrounded by so many people he knows. You can find fault in any place if you are looking for it, but my Dad is safe, happy & loved here and it has definitely become all of our second homes. Thank you, Hollie Davidson Jones

Amazing work from an amazing team starting from the person at the front door, the service, the welcoming, the reception, the respect, the cleanliness everything is above standards. The minute you walk in through the doors, they go to work, providing everything and every tool available to insure you have the best and top of the line Medical care and Rehabilitation required during your stay. The countless hours for care, meals, medications, alerts and cleanliness is above all and commitment to excellence. Thank you everyone for taking care of my mother. The facility Gabe had been in closed and we had to make sure we chose carefully and prayerfully where his next home would be. Since not only was I Gabe's mother, but also a long term care RN for for 30 years . I knew a lot about nursing homes. After we met with the staff, learned more about FourSquare, and toured the facity, We felt strongly it was the place for us. It has been 6 months now. We made the right choice.
