TRUMAN W SMITH CHILDREN'S CARE CENTER

I found this facility when researching a long term care facility for my special needs niece , we haven't been admitted but the referral process has been great so far . I was amazed at how quick Cayla , the intake coordinator responded to my request for information. Cayla has been so helpful . We were able to tour the facility and it seems all the staff love each and every kid as their own .

I am sending out a heartfelt THANK YOU to all those who tirelessly helped out at Truman W Smith Children's Care Center in this time of need due to the extended power outage from the strong storms that hit in East Texas. I feel so blessed for these amazing superhero employees, friends, and friends in the community!! They put their own personal lives on hold to be there for the children to make sure our precious angels were loved, cared for, protected and safe. So much goes into taking care of our children daily and it's truly unbelievable how much these heroes were able to do to keep up the level of care that was needed during this extremely challenging time. There are no words to express how truly grateful I am for all they did for our children. I hope something extra special can be done to acknowledge these amazing staff members of Truman W Smith Children's Care Center who are true CHAMPIONS!

My son came to Truman's back in January since then I have been nothing less than pleased. All the staff care for these kids like they are theirs with the same love and compassion they would their own. The employee also allows parents to interact with your child when the parent(s) are there. Over all this place is helping kids strive and reach full potential to have an amazing life no matter what gets them there. Even the house keeping staff is wonderful.
