AVIR AT HOUSTON

In regards to Avir my mom who is 87 years old went into the rehabilitation center back in November . She was there for over two months. The facility is very nice. She had a private room. The nurses were nice. Some nurses in the evening were having a little difficult time, but my mom has a good aura with her that kind of broke that and they became friends. She enjoyed the camaraderie after a while. The physical therapist was OK at times they came in and helped her but at times they skipped a day or two, but it could’ve been because of the holiday. Not sure the practitioner and Dr were great. The food was good. simple nutritionist did help mom out in regards to what you may want and place special orders to receive all in all we were satisfied with the facility. Thank you Avir

This is a pretty nice place. People are nice and attentive. Food is good, and the nurses are always making sure I am comfortable and that all my needs are met promptly to their best of their abilities. Two thumbs up all the way.

The first time I walked into avir at Houston facility I was delighted to feal an air of openness and cleanliness. The dread you hear about nursing homes does not exist at this facility!! I was impressed with the furnishings and Christmas decor that was up at the time ( they now have new decor which is very nice as well) The staff has been attentive and helpful! I would recommend the Avir at Houston to anyone that needs a skilled nursing and rehab facility!
