THE METHODIST HOSPITAL SNF

Do to my CIDP I have spent to many hours of my life in treatment centers. This was my 1st treatment at this center and with this new treatment. It was explained to me by my Dr. as a special kind of chemotherapy. When my Dr. told me that I was not going to do it. But since I really had no other choice I went head. When I got to the 11th floor for and got into my room my nurse Vangi came introduced her self and said we would be spending the next 5 hours together. I said stop I was told this was only going to 3 hours. She explained that since this was my 1st treatment they have to start slow and at a lower rate. I said I got a few more questions now. She answered every question. Long story short I had some side effects of the treatment and Vangi was right there making sure I was ok threw the side effects. The treatment took almost 9 hours to get. I can't say enough about the great care I got.

SNF 8 floor .I don't recommend this place to rehab ,is the most depressed place ,most of the personal don't have the capacity to work with patients ,just one nurse and one pca I can rescue a the time my husband was there, but the most important was rhe discharge day no one came to help me ,my husband have amputation in both legs and I have to transfer from the bed to the weellchair by my self NO ONE HELP ME after this you can imagine how I have to transfer my husband ifron the weellchair to the car.

The nurses and office staff at West Pavilion 11 are simply the BEST!! I have been a patient there for over two years and receive treatments every month. I feel very blessed to have found people who truly are dedicated to the mission of service. Their care and attention to me and my needs makes every treatment so much easier to face. It is not unusual to hear chatting and laughter from room to room while care is being given and see nurses work effortlessly as a true team to give that care.
