HARVEST OF ROANOKE

I am very grateful for the management of and staff at Harvest. My dad moved to Harvest 5 months ago after suffering a stroke and they made the transition for both my dad and I seamless. I’m completely at peace knowing that the medical staff watches over him and alerts me the moment something is off and needs attention. The entire staff has great rapport with my dad and the other residents. It’s not easy for some to make the transition to assisted living (my dad), and they have all interacted with him in such a way to gain his trust and friendship. At Harvest, my dad is able to be seen by a doctor, do PT/OT, has lots of activities (movie room is his favorite), and has made precious friends. All in all, I am very satisfied with our choice to make Harvest my dad’s home.

My parents lived at Harvest of Roanoke for around 31/2 years. My dad in assisted living, my momma in memory care. In the 31/2 years we experienced the tough times and the best of times. The major impression I walk away with is the desire for excellence. All of the managers and care-givers have a loving, caring heart for the residents. I can honestly say that now is the best of times, especially with Director Erica in the lead. I’ve never asked for assistance in any area that the need was not addressed immediately with care. My mother has been a resident of the Memory Care unit, known as The Cottage, for over a year now and it took a lot of stress and pressure off the family knowing she’s being take care of 24/7. The Director is very passionate about the well being of all the residents and she will work with the family until all requests or special needs are met.
