My mother has been in and out and I hope to get her out of there for the last time. When it came time to put her on medicaid, they drained her account, all bills came back insufficient and her burial policy she has been paying for since the 80's canceled on her. My mother complains all the time that staff doesnt help her when she needs it. I am no longer allowed to see my mother there. That is unacceptable. I accused them of fraudulently embezzling, did not curse them and noone asked me to leave. I have been there alot for my mother and there is not enough visitors there to give a true description of what goes on there. Most patients I know complain about the food also. Also my mother has dehydrated several times and had to go to the hospital and on return one particular time she couldn't move in bed, we asked for someone to assist in setting her up, one particular care nurse came in and grabbed her bed, jerked it away from the wall so she could get on the other side of the bed,she knocked the air conditioner cover loose and proceeded to kick it and upon completion of setting her up in bed she slammed the bed up against the wall to startle my mother, unacceptable. I reported the incident to a director only to find the same caretaker back in her room the next day. That is abuse and that is not supposed to be tolerated. And she lays in dry pee because they don't come to her aid when she needs them.
My mom is a resident there and we couldn't be happier with her care! The staff are caring and supportive and have made this transition for her care comfortable for my entire family. Kiesha is a doll and takes care of any issues we have quickly and professionally.
The staff members are friendly and welcoming to the residents, families, and friends. The goal is to help residents reach their highest and best potential. Please go take a tour 🤗
