Colonial Lodge Assisted Living

We moved our mom in the day before Thanksgiving...it was a very hard decision and one my sister, brother and I found very difficult, but it has been the best decision. From day one Elisha, Kayla and Aaron have been great. It was like we had known them forever. Our mom has several friends out there so that has helped, but the staff Ty, Jennifer and Diana (I am sorry I can't name them all) have really been amazing. Even the dining room staff, housekeeping and maintence are the best. They are ALL so sweet and take such good care of our mom. At 94 years old this has really been an adjustment but thanks to everyone at Colonial Lodge we are confident we made the right decision.

I cannot say enough good things about Colonial Lodge in Terrell. Kayla, Elisha and Aaron made a difficult time easier than we could have imagined. Our 94-year-old mother moved in a couple of months ago and the administration plus the staff are the best. The day-to-day staff that are assisting our mother have been professional but also very caring. The residents there receive great care even on the weekend. I cannot name all of the staff but over the weekend we were not able to visit because of the bad weather; however, we were not concerned because we knew she was getting the care she needed by Ty, Jennifer and Diana. I wish I could name all of the staff from the nursing staff, the dining room staff and the housekeeping staff that have assisted our Mom. Everything we have asked has been dealt with professionally and with a smile. From the minute Mom moved in to now, we know this was the right decision.

I can’t say enough good things about Colonial Lodge, on 2/7 my parents needed to be moved closer to the front of the facility, (due to medical reasons) the staff moved everything from their room to the new room. My parents have been there for about a year and half. On 2/17 my dad passed, the compassion, and love that each one of the staff showed to me and my family was incredible, they cried with us, it was their loss too. They told my daddy that they loved him all the time. Now that my mom is there without my dad the staff is making sure mom is doing the activities, trying to keep her busy, and they are doing a great job! They tell my mom all the time that they love her! Looking for a place to move your love one to, this is the place for them! So much love, and caring!
