Horrible, Horrible!!!! Do Not send your loved one here!!! The staff do not check up on the residents. The facility has a strong urine smell! I had to clean my loved ones room! The staff are lazy & unprofessional! The residents are out in the hallways in dirty clothes, hair not combed and just look a mess! The front area doesn't have security after hours and anyone can entire the facility at will! My loved one has been here since Friday. No one came to assess her needs. We her family purchased and provided a walker, bed sheets, none slip mats, paper towels, adult diapers, soap, bath towels and food. These are essential items that every resident need, not just mine!!! This place need to be fined & shutdown by the state! Some residents wreak of urine & appear to be in the same position each time I've visited. There isn't a schedule for your loved one for the day. God forbid the residents who doesn't have a voice! Some rooms you pass by the smell of urine is so strong you have to hold your breath! My loved one wet her self and bed. We were told by the nurse she would not change her until she completed her lunch break. Mind you she'd been wet for almost 4.5 hours PRIOR to us arriving! There's a lot of elderly abuse and neglect taking place here! I'm just shocked the state hasn't fined them or shut them down!!!!
This facility is run by Frances Paggeot, the Executive Director. She is an outstanding person with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care. She consistently does the right thing for each patient and ensures that every care plan is handled with professionalism and compassion.”
My auntie in room 313 and the housekeeper was very nice, had room clean and fresh. Her nurse Melly was kind and very patient with her. I meet the Director Mrs. Frances who showed me around the facility, which was nice and clean. The Colonnades has a good vibe and the people was more than kind..
Quality Score
Carley found serious staffing shortages and inconsistent personal care—with families reporting residents left in soiled conditions for extended periods—despite the facility's attractive physical environment and strong rehabilitation services.
