My husband and I have a lengthy relationship with The Forum. Beginning in 2016, my parents-in-law moved into this community. They were in two separate buildings as their care differed. Over time it was a pleasure to recommend The Forum to anyone who would listen. Our dentist actually helped his newly widowed mother to make a move to Independent Living. She has been there since 2019. Plusses of The Forum at the Woodlands are: 1. Convenience of the location to anyone living in or near The Woodlands, 2. This is as close to a continuous care facility available in The Woodlands, with Independent Living (IL) cottages, to apartments, to Assisted Living (AL) at two levels of need, AND a memory care option on campus. 3. Windsong is an ON Site home health care business that is STELLAR in it's own right, 4. A privately owned physical therapy department has space at this facility to meet the needs of residents requiring PT, 5. There is a full service hair salon on campus, 6. There are many activities, field trips etc. to choose from, 7. Transportation is available to residents by reservation, 8. The newly redecorated dining room for Independent Living has continuous quality control, 9. The property itself is beautiful and maintenance is ongoing and prompt when called, and 10. Most respected of all is the longevity of many staff members at all levels of management. My father has lived on this property since 2022. I know MANY of the staff and am recognized by them. They PAY ATTENTION. Frank is the current manager and the property has never looked better nor felt better since his arrival over a year ago. His personal attention to his staff, residents and their families has built a team at The Forum that cannot be found at any other local facility. Believe me I have been in or near all of them. The feeling of living in a small town rather than a "facility" cannot be overstated. Thank you for your patience reading this missive. I do need to note: The property IS dated. The remodeling of the facility has happened in phases. It is easy to get caught up in the beautiful new "fancy" facilities available in and near The Woodlands. I am sure they are wonderful. Our family needs required thinking through life plans where spouses do not age at the same rate. The Forum staff works to keep residents and family members connected even when the residents are in separate buildings on the property. Frank has created, maintained and is enhancing the "Circle of Life" omnipresent at The Forum at the Woodlands.

My mother is a resident at The Forum. I know she is taken care of by the nurses, home health, OT , PT, the caregivers and the activities coordinator for her building. They are all very kind, gentle and caring. I am very satisfied with the care my mother receives at The Forum.

My dad lived out his final days at The Forum at The Woodlands. Although he was not there long, he was treated with dignity and respect. The staff and management went above and beyond to help welcome him into the community. As the child of an aging parent, when the decision is made to move a loved one, you want him or her to feel accepted into the new community. The Forum at The Woodlands did an amazing job making sure he felt welcome, made friends and never ate alone. I would not hesitate putting my loved one in The Forum. Frank Taylor and his staff are amazing!!

Carley's Analysis

Carley found families consistently praised the beautiful, immaculate grounds and well-maintained facilities, though some noted staffing responsiveness could be more consistent.
